Strengthening Harmonious Industrial Relations, SG Holds a Symposium and CBA Signing with the Employees
Rembang, November 10, 2022 - The management of PT Semen Gresik (PTSG) held a symposium with the employees and a Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) signing in the hall of the CCR Building of PTSG’s Rembang Factory (9/11).
This activity was attended by PTSG’s President Director, Subhan; PTSG’s Director of Finance & Human Resources, Muchamad Supriyadi; PTSG’s Director of Production, Reni Wulandari; and the employees across PTSG lines.
PTSG’s President Director, Subhan, explained that in facing increasingly fierce global competition, it is necessary to build synergy among lines in all aspects that support the Company's sustainability to maintain its existence and competitiveness.
"This symposium with the employees is the right step for sharing and having a dialog, as well as disseminating the Company's accurate strategies to face increasingly complex market competition," said Subhan.
Subhan stated that PTSG obtained significant results in the operational section with the highest achievement of clinker production of 8,182 tons per day and, at the same time, cost savings in the production process.
"We highly appreciate and thank the team for their hard work, and of course, this achievement is a strategic move that can support the company's sustainability in 2023," he said.
Meanwhile, the Chairperson of the Semen Gresik Workers Union (SKSG), Dananto Adi Nugroho, expressed his gratitude to the directors and management of the Company for providing a forum for the employees to channel their aspirations for the Company's improvement.
At this symposium, the CBA signing between the Company and the SKSG was also carried out as a manifestation of good and harmonious industrial relations from all lines to achieve the Company's common goals," he concluded.
